Phone scam causing confusion for local residents - East Idaho News

Individuals have reported receiving a phone call from a local number asking for credit card information. At times, that number has been the phone number for the Jefferson County Probation Office. “We never ask for or collect payment information over the phone,” Probation Director Tammy Adkins said.
